At risk children with special needs are held back from fulfilling their maximum potential in school and risk the chance of not breaking the cycle of distress. The only way to put them on a path to success is by providing them with extra assistance.
This is why the Special Education fund in memory of Pesya Karasick z”l was founded.
Similar to the general population, 10% of Bet Elazraki children suffer from learning disabilities. These children generally study in smaller classes in school, but the help they receive in school is not enough.
This fund allows us to provide these children with all of the help that they need to ensure that they do not “fall through the cracks” and are able to overcome their scholastic challenges, and fulfill their potential.
